Client Brief
Needed to showcase their products online and to generate sales from the website
Jarrimber approached us to elevate their outdated website with a contemporary web design. Jarrimber felt the website did not market its products and did not look professional. Feedback from buyers uncovered they had no idea of the design choices available. Worse still buyers weren't aware of what they were capable of making. Jarrimber realised that visitors needed to see visuals of their products. Seeing them would encourage buying and generate more sales revenue.
Challenges
challenge 01
Outdated, looks tacky, and unprofessional
Their existing website did not reflect the high caliber of work they were producing. It did not impress upon their visitors the quality of their workmanship and products. The images of furniture were generic and their product range wasn't featured.

Catalog and display product range online
Jarrimber wanted to display their entire inventory. They wanted photos and details for every piece of furniture made available online. The information they want showing included sizing, delivery, material choices, and product shots. They also wanted every product page to have a contact form for buyers to make inquiries.
Our Solutions
The new Design
Luxury in a website
We created a luxurious and clean concept that was designed to limit distraction from the furniture. By choosing neutral background colours we put emphasis on the product allowing it to stand out more.
Ecommerce functionality
Look before you buy
We developed a custom website based on Wordpress and added eCommerce functionality using WooCommerce to display their inventory of furniture. We were able to display each product's images, their specifications and for some products customisations like fabric options or selection of timber material.
Bulk Image Editing
Transforming the ordinary
The client had ammased a collection of photos he wanted to use as product shots. A lot of them were just photos taken from a camera phone. To make them look more professional we decided to remove the furniture from its background. We then placed the extracted furniture on a clear backdrop and added stylised shadows. In total, over 1,100 images were processed in this manner.
Mobile Friendly
Tested across various devices
The site is also compatible with various mobile and tablet devices.
Feedback
Todd Smith Jarrimber
I approached Kelvin from Zen Web to revise and revamp my existing website, which needed an overhaul ...and I also wanted ecommerce functionality. Not only did Kelvin exceed my expectations of the look and feel of the new site, it was his attention to detail and understanding of what I wanted which really impressed me. As well as this the cost was really fair and in some instances exceptional compared to a few other quotes that came in. I would highly recommend Kelvin and Zen Web to anyone or business looking for a new website. Thanks once again.
